POTD: Just Loving Jesus

1–2 minutes

To read

(Take a few minutes of your quarantine and have a talk with the Creator of the Universe—your Heavenly Father and Best Friend. You can’t lose.)

He loves you—Let’s love Him right back. Let’s pray…

What language shall I borrow
To thank You, dearest Friend,
For this Thy dying sorrow,
Thy pity without end;
O, make me Thine forever,
And should I fainting be;
Lord, let me never, never
Outlive my love for Thee.
I sometimes think about the cross
And shut my eyes and try to see
The cruel nails, the crown of thorns
And Jesus crucified for me;
But even could I see Him die,
I would but see a little part
Of that great love, which like a fire,
Was always burning in His heart.
—Bernard of Clairvaux
